Well, I was supposed to have had my new John Deere 4410 (with front-end loader and snowblower) delivered today, but as I was heading out the door to go home and meet the delivery guy, I received a call saying that he had bad news and it wouldn't be coming today. He said that when they were moving it to the truck, they found antifreeze on the ground. Evidently, the fan blade hit the coolant hose and punctured it.
Can someone tell me if this sounds right? I wouldn't think that it would be that tight in there where this could happen.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Doesn't sound right, but not there to see. Could be a loose hose clamp or a leaky heater. Who knows but them at this point. ....

That sounds like the same thing that happened to my 4300. The top hose on the raditor was being cut by the fan hiting it. My tractor had to go back for warranty repair- leaking stearing pump and I had them take care of that as well, the JD tech said all he did was replace the hose and aline the new hose differently so there was enough clearence between the fan and hose no problems since. ....
